READ: Mark 11:23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
Jesus tells us in Mark 11:23 that we can speak to our mountain and tell it to be lifted up and thrown into the sea. What is our mountain? Our mountain is our problem. Our mountain is whatever is in front of us that seems insurmountable. Our mountain can even be holding us back from where the Lord wants us to be.
In Luke 17 we see Jesus having a conversation with his apostles. The apostles said to the Lord, "Show us how to increase our faith." The Lord answered, "If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'May you be uprooted and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you!"
Notice what Jesus told them to talk to - the mulberry tree!
Jesus is telling us to speak to our problem (mountain), situation, life. When we speak to it, we are to believe what we say will come to pass and the Word of God says we will have whatever we say.
Do you have a mountain in your life right now - something infront of you that seems insurmountable? Speak directly to it, as Jesus instructed, and believe that what you say will come to be! There is power in what you say!
