Alone Time

READ:  Luke 5:15-16  The report went around concerning Him (Jesus) all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.

Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). He healed everyone who came to him - not one was turned away.   News about him was spreading.    Jesus found himself in situations many times surrounded and crowded by people.  He need a break.  He needed time away.  He need alone time with His Father.

We are no different than Jesus.  In fact, He is our example.  If He needed time away from stress, busyness, and people.... then so do we.

Do you have an alone spot?  I do.  Its my front porch.  I love to sit on my glider, especially as the sun is setting and read the Word of God.   This is the place where I feel I can be alone with God. I can talk to Him.  I can pray to Him.

In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there. Mark 1:35

If you have an 'alone spot' get there today and spend some time with Jesus.  Maybe you are there right now!   If you don't have a spot - find one and make it your place where you go to get alone with Him.    We need quiet time with our Father so we can hear from Him.
