The Father Loves and Protects Us

READ:  Isaiah 43:1-3, 13  Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.  I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, i will be with you.  When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.  When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.  From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.

As a child of the most high King - we can rest... rest in the fact that we do not have to fear what tomorrow holds.   We do not have to be anxious or full of worry.  The Savior of the world called us by name and we are His!

When we walk through the fires of oppression - we will not be burned and the flames  will not consume us.   Remember we just read about Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego - they were IN the fiery furnace, but they DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A SMELL OF SMOKE ON THEM!  That is the promise that you have too.    The Word of God says that we can walk THROUGH the fires of oppression.  Notice this doesn't mean that we will never face oppression, in fact, it tells us that WE WILL FACE OPPRESSION BUT WE WILL WALK RIGHT THROUGH THEM because Jesus will be with us!

Anybody going through deep waters? I don't know about some of you but at the moment I feel like our family is in very deep waters.... but as children of Jesus we carry the promise that we will not drown in those waters.     Our Savior walks on water and with our eyes on Him - we can walk on the deep waters too.

And we have the promise that nothing can ever snatch us from the hand of protection and love of our heavenly father.

This is wonderful promises to start our week off on!
