"About five years ago, I saw this little wilted stick at Lowes.  (It was actually on the clearance rack).   All it needed was some water and some tender loving care and now it is beautiful again".   (words by Michelle Salmon).

As human beings we can face times in our life like we are on the clearance rack.  Maybe our life didn't really go as expected, and we failed more times than we succeeded.

The loving care of our heavenly father can set us straight again, right our wrongs, and make our life worth living.  Finding our worth in Christ and seeing ourselves the way He sees us can make all the difference in the world.

But what about the people that you run into everyday?  - maybe at the hardware store, the grocery store, or the park.    Maybe it's even your next door neighbor, or that person that you think always seems to have life all together.      You'd be surprised what people are carrying each day.    The stresses, the failures, the depressions.....

Do you realize that you can be the "tender loving care" that someone needs?  A smile, a hug, a warm comment of encouragement made out of love - can be enough to change someone's day and maybe just maybe even the direction for their life.

Today as you go about your day - ask God to show you the person that may feel like they are on the clearance rack of life and let Him use you to show the Love of Jesus to that person.  You just may change their life!
