I Will

READ:   Mark 1:40-41  A leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him, "If you will, you can make me clean."    Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, "I will; be clean."  And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean.

In todays scripture we read about a man who had leprosy and he came to Jesus kneeling down, and begging him, "If you will, you can make me clean."

I love to teach on healing - you could say that it is pretty much my passion or my ministry.    I hear a lot of talk as I discuss healing with others and one thing that keeps coming up over and over and over is:

I know that God CAN heal me,

but I don't know if He WILL

What people are saying is that they know that God has the ability to heal, but does he have the desire?      This type of thinking DOES NOT line up with the Word of God.  This type of thinking is actually doubt and unbelief and it comes from listening to what the world says, seeing the symptoms, feeling the pain, and speaking forth words of doubt, fear, and death.

The Father is more than WILLING to heal you.    What good Father would want to see his child suffer?    And your Father is VERY GOOD INDEED!     Luke 11:9-13   And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will reopened.  What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a servant; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?   If you then, who are evil, know how to give goods gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!

Today with your words - cancel the doubt that you have been speaking and believing over yourself.  Your heavenly Father not only can heal you, set you free, deliver you - HE WANTS TO AS WELL.    He says to you today, "I WILL!!"
